ROSE QUARTZ

The science

Another friend from the Silicon-Oxide family (aka, Quartz). This pink Beauty can be found in massive abundance, notably here in the Americas (California, Maine and Brazil). It’s pink and rosy color? Impurities like Iron (Fe), Titanium (Ti) or Mangenese (Mn) slip in during formation. Kind of like your geologic food-coloring, make sense?

PS - For any of you who have baked with natural food coloring, you might notice that with high oven temps, the colors fades. Same with Rose Quartz, so save outside time with this one for full moons.

LOVE of every kind.

THE MAGIC

This is the Love Stone, baby! Rose Quartz calls in all types of unconditional Love: self-love and love for others. The messaging here really resonates and I want you to take away two things:

1) Rose Quartz is as beautiful as it is because of impurities! It’s scientifically not pure, it’s imperfect. Let that sit for a moment….hello, self-love!

2) As for love of/with others, may I remind you that Quartz is made of the second-most abundant element (Silicon) on the planet. Rose Quartz reminds us that there is plenty of love to go around, and it’s in abundance! So, call yourself in some of that love you deserve.

Rose Quartz inspires us to create love in our lives, and receive love in our lives.
