CELESTITE

The science

The name Celestite is derived from the Latin root “Caelestis”, meaning “Heavenly”. Need I say more? You know it!

As another member of our Sulfate family of minerals, Celestite is also comprised of Strontium (Sr). What else is comprised of Strontium? Fireworks! Celestite is unique to Geologists because it is “Isostructural”, meaning, it has the same crystalline structure as other minerals. Think of it like a sub-atomic muffin pan - you can put blueberry muffin or chocolate cupcake mix in them but they ultimately still hold the same structure. Being Isostructrual allows for a chemical exchange process that we refer to as “solid solution”, where an ion/ions can be easily swapped out during formation. In the case of Celestite, its isostructural with Barite.

ANGELIC GUIDE & SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

THE MAGIC

Aligned with its Latin meaning mentioned above, Celestite is your hotline to the Heavens. It helps you get in touch with your celestial light team! If you’re like me, and loathe asking for help (side note: just ask for help…it’s totally worth it), Celestite will take that burden off your shoulders. Incorporate this crystal into your ritual to call in God/Goddess, your Spirit Guide(s), Reiki (Universal Energy), Angels and Ancestors. You are truly never alone, and Celestite helps us remember this.
